Summary on ASCE YMF - Santa Barbara / Ventura Chapter

The Younger Member Forum (YMF) is a sub-group of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) association. YMF is a program designed to offer opportunities to network with peers, learn more about the profession, provide recognition and encourage the full professional development of Younger Members. We try to schedule at least one meeting a month, varying from technical tours, social gatherings, and outreach events to our community. We also encourage participation with the local ASCE Branch. Our local Santa Barbara / Ventura Branch meets once a month and presents topics of interest to the engineering community. It is a great opportunity to learn about projects, new techniques , and policies, while also networking with professionals in the community. The YMF Chapter and Branch also try to hold jointly sponsored events throughout the year.
